Job interviews are an opportunity for you to shine and tell employers what makes you special (and the perfect fit for that job).

We asked top employers to divulge one of the interview questions they pose to job applicants. Multinational professional services company Deloitte shared this unique question where you can show what makes you special, in under three minutes.

Our students tackled the question headfirst as Nicolas Chu, (Professor of Practice at UNSW Business School, Founder & CEO of Sinorbis) Christina Chun, (Entrepreneur, Director at Walker Advisory) Sapna Patel, (Founder & CEO of ImmiAdvisor) and Blair Slater (UNSW's Head of Student Academic & Career Success), gave us their feedback.

Take a look at what our students came up with, and what really impressed our employers.

Grow your career opportunities through studying with UNSW. Our graduates are in demand* because we set up our students for professional success. Our finger is on the pulse of what today’s employers are looking for in you when you graduate.

How can you be sure of your employability with a degree from UNSW?

The proof is in our rankings. UNSW graduates are some of the most sought-after in their fields. We rank 5th in Australia in the Graduate Outcomes Survey*. The median salary for our graduates is higher than any other Group of Eight University (Go8) undergraduate salaries, showing employers see the value in UNSW graduates.

It's because we give you the practical skills employers are looking for and prepare you for the workplace from day one, working closely with industry and UNSW Careers.

Master employability from the outset - from understanding lifelong learning and how it can help your career, to knowing how a side-hustle can work for you while studying. When it comes to employability, UNSW has you covered.
